Why are we offering this service?
After completing a year-long needs assessment of the Las Vegas valley, the Verve Foundation determined that there is a gap in the food needs of Las Vegas citizens. The metropolitan area has many wonderful food banks and pantries. Unfortunately, as a result of a variety of rules and regulations, many people who genuinely need help don't "qualify." By creating the co-op, we can provide cost-effective food, with no stipulations, to people from all walks of life and all wage classes.
